Managing Director

Simon is a highly experienced HR executive with experience across multiple industries, with experience in some of New Zealand’s iconic companies.

Simon has alternated between executive HR and management roles, having developed extensive expertise in the areas of Employment Relations, Organisational Performance, Operations Management and Business Transformation. He also has a strong track record in enterprise wide transformation initiatives; including organisational design, mergers and acquisitions and industry-wide restructures and new site establishment, both in New Zealand and offshore.

Simon is passionate about developing and guiding leaders and organisations to achieve their potential. His blend of experience enables him to take a holistic approach to human resources.

Simon holds a Masters of Management (Human Resource Management) where he specialised in organisational behaviour and employment relations, with his research focussed on the use of mutually beneficial workplace flexibility to assist in developing inclusive organisational cultures.

Josie McDonald

Josie McDonald

Legal Super Star

Josie brings focus and clarity around the complex legal requirements that surround organisational change and day-to-day human resource matters. Josie applies her legal and HR experience to ensure that organisation restructures are legally robust and also meet the organisation’s objectives.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 2004, Josie practiced resource management and employment law in New Zealand before a stint in England saw her assist in healthcare / pharmaceutical law. After returning to New Zealand, Josie moved into Human Resources and has amassed a wealth of generalist HR experience with one of New Zealand’s largest retailers and as a consultant to SMEs.

Josie holds a Bachelor’s degree in law (1st class honours), with a double major in law and psychology (LLB (Hons)).
